    Meet Darcie Ellyne, Founder

    I have provided nutrition consulting and menu labeling services to the restaurant industry for over two decades. Following my Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Institution Management at University of Illinois in Champaign, I headed to San Francisco when California Cuisine was taking hold in the culinary world. I managed a variety of progressive corporate dining rooms and healthcare food services overseeing all aspects of foodservice management. Having a taste of the culinary scene and the nutrition world in the San Francisco Bay Area, I wanted more. I completed my Masters degree in Nutrition Science and studied in Paris at École de Gastronomie Française Ritz-Escoffier. Since then, I added to my years of foodservice management experience by teaching, counseling and working with chefs and diners to integrate delicious food with healthy eating. With my unique educational background and professional expertise in both foodservice and nutrition, I am sensitive to and knowledgeable of the aesthetic, technical, and nutritional aspects of food production and consumption.

     

    Meet Bonnie Lemesh

    I'm absolutely passionate about food -- not only the taste and presentation, but even the chemistry. Exploring new cuisine and new tastes expands my culinary repertoire, keeps me up to date and provides more ways to add value for our clients and their business. For almost 20 years, I have worked with culinary and nutrition professionals as a clinical dietitian, instructor, and caterer. My background includes working with professional chefs to plan menus and modify recipes to taste delicious while meeting specific nutrition criteria. I taught nutrition at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco and taught classes on Healthy Cooking at Draeger's Supermarket in San Mateo, California, My "hands-on" experience as a caterer has given me first-hand experience with the challenges of planning, purchasing, and executing recipes for large groups while under pressure. I received my BS in Nutrition Science from San Francisco State University and completed additional culinary training at L'Ecole de Gastronomie Francaise Ritz-Escoffier and Le Cordon Bleu culinary schools in Paris. I stay abreast of the latest trends in food with classes, research, travel, by experimenting in the kitchen and working with our talented clients.
