About Darcie Ellyne
Founder of
Restaurant Dietitian, Darcie Ellyne has provided nutrition
consulting and menu labeling services to the restaurant
industry for over two decades. As a Registered Dietitian and
Culinary Nutrition Consultant, Darcie uses state-of-the-art
database technology to generate accurate computer nutrition
analysis.
With a Master's degree in Nutrition Science
from San Jose State University, Darcie enhanced her
nutrition expertise with culinary training at the world
renown École de Gastronomie Française Ritz-Escoffier in
Paris. She has experience in food service management,
teaching and nutrition counseling. With her unique
educational background and professional expertise in both
food service and nutrition, Darcie is sensitive to and
knowledgeable of the aesthetic, technical, and nutritional
aspects of food production and consumption.
